Words from the Church Leader:

     "Now the church is not wood or stone, but the company of people who believe in Jesus Christ."  As the company of people who believe in Christ, we are part of a very unique worshipping experience...a church family where one is always welcomed and Christ's presence is felt sharing the Good News of God's love!
     We offer a contemporary message, one of hope and encouragement, yet practical and equipping us to face the challenges of living the Christian faith day by day.  Our worship style is liturgical yet family orientated in which children are welcome.

     Rev. Robert Shofner, Jr.

Rev. Shofner attended California State University at Northridge followed by Yale Divinity School.  Pastor Shofner has served churches in New York, Washington, California, and Nebraska.  He has been serving St. John's since December 2001.
